Covid-19 Life Groups
In light of everything going around us, it’s important that we practice social distancing, not spiritual distancing. Here are a couple of tools for Life Groups that we can use to continue meeting with our respective groups virtually. Below, you’ll find tutorial videos on how to use both Zoom and Google Meet. You can use these tools through the app on your phone or your computer. I pray that you find these beneficial as you aim to continue growing spiritually with your Life Group.
What are Life Groups?
We pursue and live out authentic gospel-centered community through Life Groups. Made up of men and women from all generations of life, these groups meet throughout the week for fellowship, care, prayer, accountability, sharing stories and studying God’s Word. Life Groups are a place where we work to consider each other before ourselves. No group is perfect, and no two groups are exactly the same. We don’t expect them to be. Because people are messy, groups are messy. Life Group involvement is one of our main strategies to instruct and mobilize our church.
What Is the Purpose of Life Groups?
Life Groups exist to connect people deeply to community, to know and serve one another persistently, and to pursue making disciples for Jesus, so that no one misses the grace of God.
Why Should I Get in a Group?
As human beings, we were created for deeper community with others. Maybe you’ve never desired deeper community here because of your schedule, expectations, or whatever else it may be. God wants you to be encouraged in your walk with Christ by walking it with others who share the greatest thing in common: salvation through Christ.
