Our DNA
New Life Christian Church is one church in two locations: New Life Morton and New Life - North.
New Life - North rents the Performing Arts Center at ICC for Sunday morning services. We have a commitment to the Bible as the true and irrefutable Word of God. We place a high value on strong interpersonal relationships and meaningful service of one another. We believe all people need to experience the love of Jesus, and that their need to become His followers is of paramount importance. We hold firmly to the Bible to determine right from wrong, while at the same time exercising loads of grace. We understand that all of us are on a spiritual journey, and there are times when we're all going struggle to walk in full obedience to Jesus. We want each New Lifer to know God deeply, to find authentic, lifelong relationships, and to be a light in an often dark world.
My name is Jason Morris and I'm the pastor of New Life - North. We try hard to provide a safe and gracious environment on Sunday mornings so that you don't feel the need to make sure your life is "just so" before you come and check us out. Our hope is that you'll find genuine people struggling with the same kinds of difficulties that you are, all in the context of striving to authentically love the God of creation.

MINISTRIES
KidsLife
KidsLife's vision is "Growing kids who love and follow Jesus for life!" We value partnering with parents in helping their children find and grow in a relationship with Jesus. We want kids to feel safe, accepted, and valued. We will strive to provide Biblical curriculum, engaging activities, and quality volunteers who take their role seriously in caring for and teaching our kids about the God who created them and who longs for a relationship with them that grows through their whole life. Check in begins at 9:30.
Nursery—2 year olds: A nursery is available for infants through 2 year olds. We provide care, playtime, and snacks if appropriate. The kids are separated into two groups - infants/non walkers and walkers through 2 year olds.
3—4 year olds: Preschoolers participate in a large group Bible lesson, small group lesson activities, snacks, and playtime. Kids are separated into two age groups (2 1/2 — 3 year olds; 4 year olds — 5 year olds not yet in Kindergarten).
Kindergarten—5th grade: Elementary aged kids are invited to worship with their parents or their small group teacher. We have a section roped off in the PAC for each age group. Kids are released to their ministry after worship to experience a Bible lesson taught in large group, and lesson activities, prayer, discussion, and snacks in a small group. Kids are separated into three age groups (K-1st, 2nd-3rd, 4th-5th).
