Helping teens encounter God in a real and relevant way.

What we offer:

Student Life exists to create opportunities for teenagers to encounter God on a personal level and take their spiritual walk deeper with Him. Everything we do points back to this target- that teens meet and walk with God.

Student Life Values:

Student Life places a high value on being Word driven, community focused, and family connected.

Word driven:

  • Everything comes back to the Bible
  • Training for students in prayer and discipleship
  • Equipping teens with the tools they need to own their faith

Community focused:

  • Teens contribute back to the life of the church as a whole
  • Volunteer opportunities for adults and teens within Student Life
  • Preparing students for their lives beyond youth group
  • Welcoming and friendly environments for new students to attend

Family connected:

  • Our leadership carries a high priority on partnering with parents
  • Support, encourage, and reinforce the value of a Christian family
  • Coming alongside parents and helping them to minister to their own students

Our student ministry takes place across both campuses on different evenings throughout the week. Both groups engage in the same lesson series and Bible studies. Then we unite as one Student Life body at special events, retreats, and conferences.

Our Morton Campus meets on Wednesday nights in the Hartseil Ministry Center. Both Junior High and Senior High ministries meet on this night with the following schedule:

6:30-7:30: Junior High Ministry

7:30-8:00: Combined Jr. and Sr. High Worship

8:00-9:00: High School Ministry

Each Wednesday night is filled with a discussion-based lessons, small groups, games, and engaging worship.

The Washington Campus meets each Sunday night at Washington Plaza. Both the Junior High and Senior High ministries meet on the same night with the following schedule:

6:30-8:00: Junior High Ministry

7:30-9:00: High School Bible Study

Each Sunday night is filled with the same game, discussion, and lesson as the Morton campus.

A big part of Student Life is giving students the opportunity to try new things and leave their comfort zones. We do all kinds of crazy events but they all have the same intent- that each student would be given the chance to encounter Jesus in a new way.
