1 I know that nothing good lives in me, thatis in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 2 For is it God who works in you to willand to act according to His good purpose. 3 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacri?ces, holy and pleasing to God - which is your spiritual act of worship. Romans 12: 1 4 Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the LORD. Lamentations 3:40 5 Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. James 5:16 6 Humble yourselves before the Lord, andHe will lift you up. James 4:10 7 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. I John 1:9 8 Do unto others as you would have them do to you. Luke 6:31 9 Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the alter and there remember that yourbrother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the alter. First, go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offeryour gift. 10 So, if you think you are standing ? rm, be careful that you don’t fall! I Corinthians 10:12 11 Let the Word of Christ dwell in your richly. Colossians 3:16 12 Brothers, if someone is caught in asin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. Galatians 6:1 |
1 We admitted we were powerless over the effects of our separation from God -that our lives had become unmanageable. 2 Came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity. 3 Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God, as we understood Him. 4 Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves. 5 Admitted to God, to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs. 6 Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character. 7 Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings. 8 Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all. 9 Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others. 10 Continued to take personal inventory and, when we were wrong, promptly admitted it. 11 Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out. 12 Having had a spiritual awakening as a result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to others, and practice these principles in all our affairs. |

Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the LORD. (Lamentations 3:40)Is your walk with Jesus hindered by current or past sinful behavior? Are you or someone you know hurting inside, feeling isolated? Do you or a loved one struggle with addictive behavior?
Pathway to Peace is a safe, anonymous opportunity to meet regularly with others who seek to be freed from the chains of addiction, fear, anxiety, resentment, anger and codependency. We ?nd loving support as, together, in the fellowship of recovery we rely on the help of Jesus to enact the time-tested 12 step plan for breaking the chains that make our lives unmanageable and have caused so much pain and confusion. We discover that healing is possible, that we can experience lasting freedom, recovery and reconciliation from the damage our sinful behavior has caused. |
Pathway to Peace is a Christ centered 12 step recovery program for men and women struggling with sinful behavior. As with other 12 step programs that focus on a single addiction such as alcohol, drugs, sex/pornography or gambling, the Pathway program incorporates spirituality and prayer in each meeting. Pathway is for all who struggle with sinful behavior; everyone qualifies. The program derives its direction for recovery from God’s Word, the Bible, and puts into action God’s unconditional love for us while at the same time challenging us to love each other in the same way.
Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. (James 5:16) |
We are a support group committed to creating a safe place for men and women to share their experience, strength and hope with each other. As a fellowship of men and women recovering from behaviors that have affected our lives, our purpose is to grow spiritually and in our relationship with God. (From The Twelve Steps For Christians)
