Website Usage Guidelines

 
Guidelines For Individuals, Ministries, or Groups 
Using The New Life Web Site. 

1.  These Guidelines apply to all people, groups, ministries, or organizations using the www.newlifeonline.org web site. This includes any ministry or organization of New Life Christian Church such as Kids Life, Route 77, Adult Education, Small Groups, Church Staff, Servant Life, Life Skills, and all other ministries or groups.

2.  The New Life Senior Pastor(s) will have the final authority or decision regarding content presented or accesses allowed the New Life Christian Church web site www.newlifeonline.org. 

3.  All People, groups, ministries, or organizations that are part of New Life Christian Church will use space provided at www.newlifeonline.org to present all World Wide Web content representing New Life Christian Church. 

4.  The Internet Development Team will monitor web site space usage and notify groups of any excessive overages. If an excessive amount of space is required by any one group the Internet Development Team will determine what chargeback costs, if any, need to be incurred by that group for the use of web space. 

5.  If a web service, which is needed by a group, is not provided on our web site the Internet Development Team will work with that group to provide whatever service is needed. This would include calendars, streaming media, or other special web services. 

6.  No MP3 files (mainly music) will be allowed on the newlifeonline.org web site except those approved by the Internet Development Team. 

7.  No links to other web sites from newlifeonline.org will be allowed except those approved by the Internet Development Team. 

8.  The Internet Development Team will provide a secure logon area for personal or member information (described below) within newlifeonline.org. No other logon may be used within NewLifeOnline.org except as provided by the Internet Development Team. 

9.  The newlifeonline.org web site will be divided into to two major areas, a secure area, named “New Life Connections “, and a Non-Secure (open to the public) area. Anyone’s personal information which could include pictures, addresses, phone numbers, membership status, or any other personal information, must only appear within the New Life Connections (secure) area. It is acceptable for first-name information to appear in the public area (non-secure), but “recognizable” pictures of anyone will not be allowed in the public area (non-secure) without written authorization by the individual or parent (if the individual is a minor). 

10. Current members and regular attendees of New Life Christian Church, including dependent children, will be allowed to access the New Life Connections area. 

11.  Any controversies generated by these guidelines will be referred to item 2.
